The Good Business Festival showcase events, collectively known as Greater Good, will bring the event even closer to regional business audiences on a tour of interesting and unusual venues across Liverpool City Region’s boroughs. Greater Good will focus on local good business issues with national and international significance, highlight pioneering local sectors and good business leadership and champion a greater understanding of purposeful business practices originating from each borough.
We are more than a festival - we are working with our local and national partners to deliver The Good Small Business Programme. We have an exciting programme of After Hours events, workshops and mentoring sessions and much more is set to take place at the Festival - all EXCLUSIVELY for Festival and Day Pass Holders. Part of The Good Business Festival, the programme will comprise series of breakfast drop-in events, ‘business clinics’ and three specially curated events by purpose-driven networking group Firestarters, which will take place during the three-day festival in March. Make sure you’re part of it! The Good Small Business Programme, which is a partnership between The Good Business Festival and Growth Platform – Liverpool City Region Growth Company, has been created to help local SMEs better understand what it takes to be ‘Good Businesses’ and to actively embed responsible practices, stimulating inclusive economic growth in the city region. The Good Business Festival takes place from 22 to 24 March 2022. Staged across a host of Liverpool City Region venues, the festival will see major brands and inspiring leaders from business, media, music and academia lead presentations, panel discussions, workshops and knowledge sessions showcasing how businesses of every size and sector have prospered by being purpose-led. Events are being curated by The Good Business Festival and run in collaboration with national and local partners, and are free to attend.
We are embedding education and learning into our programme – making sure our platform provides opportunities for young people in Liverpool City Region and across the country. The heart of our education programme is The TGBF Youth Summit. But as well as this event, we’re developing a digital education resource focused on subject matters that young people have told us are most important to them – environment, habitats, oceans, food production and climate change. The ambition is to speak to and hear from as many young locals as possible to learn, teach and explore a better way forward together.
